Booking Appointments

We offer pre-bookable appointments on every weekday afternoon. Appointments for the following week are available to book from 1 pm the previous Thursday, you can book an appointment in person at the reception, through telephone, or book online using your internet connection. To book online you will need a password and user number, please ask our receptionist for details about this.

If your query can be dealt with over the telephone, you can ask the reception staff for a GP telephone consultation. We aim to ring patients back once morning surgery is over. If you cannot attend your appointment for any reason, please phone ahead and cancel.

Walk in Surgery

Every weekday morning we provide a walk-in surgery between 8:30am and 10:30am for anyone who would like to see a GP. There may be a wait to see tthe GP depending on how busy it is, but receptionists will be happy to give you an estimated time for you to be seen

Urgent Appointments

Patients with urgent problems will be seen on the same day. Each day the practice has nominated duty doctor who will deal with any urgent problems or queries. If there are no routine appointments available, but you feel that your problem is urgent, please tell the receptionist, it really is helpful if you can provide as much detail as you can, as this information will be passed to the duty doctor who will make a decision based on the information given. Nurses based in our practice can treat patients for a wide range of common conditions.

Home Visits

We ask patients to come to the surgery if at all possible, as our doctors can generally see four patients in the surgery in the time it takes to do a single home visit. However, if you are too ill to attend the surgery, and the doctor thinks this is appropriate, we can arrange a home visit. If you feel that a home visit may be necessary, try to ring the practice before 10.30am. Your request will be passed to the duty doctor, so please give as much information as possible.
