Walk in Surgery

Every weekday morning we provide a walk-in surgery between 8:30am and 10:30am for anyone who would like to see a GP. There may be a wait to see tthe GP depending on how busy it is, but receptionists will be happy to give you an estimated time for you to be seen

Minor Surgery

Minor Surgical procedures such as removal of minor skin lesions, cryotherapy (freezing) of warts and joint injections can all be performed within the surgery.  Please see a GP for details and assessment of suitability.

Phlebotomy Clinic

If you have been advised to have a blood test, please see our phlebotomist.
Monday to Friday: 8:30-12:00
No appointment needed.

Non NHS Work

The Practice does provide some services which are not currently provided under the NHS, these services do attract a fee. Please see Charges for Non NHS work before you request this.

Smoking Cessation

Our doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants are all able to offer smoking cessation advice but we also host a specialist smoking cessation clinic on Friday morning on a drop-in basis. Please contact the surgery for clinic hours.

Alcohol Counselling

Advice regarding alcohol is provided in our surgery by our Healthcare Assistant as well as specialist alcohol workers.

We have a specialist alcohol worker who available in the practice every Tuesday.
Please ask at reception if you are interested in accessing this service.

Counselling

A range of counselling and mental health services are provided on site by referral from GPs.

Translators

We may be able to arrange a translator for patients whose first language is not English or are deaf and communicate through sign language. Please let us know of any such requirements in advance of your appointment.
